2007 workshop

The 2007 workshop - held on November 12, 2007, in Bethesda, MD - reprised and extended the discussion started at the 1997 workshop - 10 years on.

The 2007 workshop used an interactive format designed to stimulate exploration of ideas and to create a framework to facilitate policy decision making. The Institute provided a forum in which health care, media, and publishing experts, representatives of interested organizations, and consumers could explore various aspects of and issues pertaining to health information on the Internet. At the workshop, participants received a copy of the 2007 workshop workbook.

The Institute developed the 2007 workshop report to summarize workgroup results and participants' discussions.
